Fees
**There is no fee to open your file**
For most residential properties, we charge 50% of your actual tax savings in the year that we file the appeal, and only in the year that we file the appeal.
For commercial properties we charge a percentage of your actual tax savings in the year that we file the appeal, and only in the year that we file the appeal. This percentage varies, and must be quoted by Gary Smith.
**There are no hidden fees**
If there are court costs, appraisal fees or other charges, clients will be consulted prior to billing. Clients must approve these charges before they become legally binding. These costs usually apply to commercial cases only and are rarely applies to residential cases.
